LESSONS LEARNED

I watched the flowers and the people grow
I saw how great was this world I know
Fought passed much foolish pride
found an ego I could not hide

Though Jesus lived his teachings were lies
cause I learned from someone elses eyes
I learned to read and study too
now I'm not as lonely as you

Needless sufferring and woe
lessons unlearned have made it so
grim reaper comes you can't escape
God awaits at His torn drape.
